I am entrepreneur in the software and technology industry. In my blog, I will share with you my take on technology, entrepreneurship, widgets, software development, and whatever else flows through my brainsteam.
Curious about my credentials?
- Started with technology as a kid with the Commodore 64 and TRS-80 computers back in the 1980s.
- Built WebEvent while at Boston University. It was the first interactive online calendaring system. It is still being sold today.
- Was webmaster at BU when being called a “webmaster” was brand-new and exciting.
- Raised venture money to launch WebEvent to the next level and the company was eventually sold to MeetingMaker.
- Started Revenution, an Internet consulting company, that, well, builds Internet “things” for our clients. Things such as improving Google maps and working with the W3C on web standards.
- Launched WidgetWorld, the world’s leading Yahoo Widget Engine development firm.
- Founded VendorCity, a B2B recommendation and lead generation company. It is currently in transition.

And finally, I am married, have two wonderful boys, and I live in New Hampshire. Beth, my amazing wife, is the vice-president of Neighbors Helping Newborns (NHN). NHN is a local 501(c)3 non-profit charity that provides comfort and necessities to premature and newborn babies at hospitals in New Hamphsire and Massachusetts.
Other interesting tidbits:
- The smiley “Beaker”, named for the Muppets character, was credited to me in the first smiley book *8-)
- I am a black belt in Uechi Ryu, an Okinawan style of karate.
- There is some proof to collaborate the fact that I used to be a competitive ballroom dancer including some pictures from exhibitions done for First Night in Boston.
- I used to get a lot of email intended for James Cameron, the director. You wouldn’t believe what some people will do to get famous.
Hi JC

Have a great day!
